Meet Tayler

She doesn't just play goalball. She dives for it.

Tayler Moses is a blind athlete who has fought her way onto one of the most competitive youth rosters in the country. On the court she reads the game entirely by sound, tracking a bell filled ball as it hurtles toward her at highway speed and throwing her whole body in front of it to make the stop.

Making a national team is only half the battle. Getting to Astana takes flights, training camps, uniforms, and competition costs, and that's where you come in. Every dollar you give goes through the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes to help Tayler and her teammates chase a world title and, one day, a Paralympic dream.

The Sport

What is goalball?

Goalball is a Paralympic team sport built for blind and visually impaired athletes. It's fast, physical, and played in near silence so players can hear the ball.

Everyone competes blind

All players wear eyeshades, so athletes with any level of vision compete on a completely equal footing. It's a pure test of skill, sound, and courage.

Listen, then dive

The ball has bells inside. Defenders track it by ear and lay their bodies fully across the goal line to block shots that can top 40 mph.

The road to the Paralympics

The Youth World Championships are where the next generation of Team USA is forged, the same pipeline that feeds the U.S. Paralympic squad.
